When signing up, team names must comply with the following content restrictions or will be changed to comply with the following restrictions:
Participants will earn entries to be submitted to the prize pool. Entries can be earned for engaging with safety resources, watching safety video segments, and answering safety-related questions correctly. All entries will be part of a random draw taking place each morning, Monday to Friday, through the run of the Contest to determine the previous day’s daily prize winner, and weekly Monday mornings to determine the previous week’s weekly team prize winners as well as the Grand prize winner. Only those participating as part of a team are eligible to win the weekly prizes and the Grand prize.
There are a total of 24 Prizes available to be won (each a “Prize”). The contest prizes are as follows:
Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable, and must be accepted as awarded.
Chances of winning are dependent on the number of entries received. The total number of participants in the Contest also affects the overall odds of winning.
In their absolute discretion, the Contest sponsors reserve the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value in the event of the unavailability, for whatever reason, of the advertised prize in whole or in part.
Winners will be contacted via provided email or phone number notifying them of their win and details on how to collect their prize. Representatives of ACSA or its affiliated partner will manage prize distribution. A participant’s first name, team name and company name may be shared if they win a prize.
Winners may be required to provide valid Alberta Government-issued identification and answer the following skill-testing question - ‘what is (16x5) - (12➗ 4)’ - before receiving their prize. The organizing entity reserves the right to disqualify any participant suspected of fraudulent activity or rule violations.
Subject to the provisions of these Official Rules, each Participant whose Entry is selected as a winner will be notified to that effect by the Contest Administrator via email. The winner will receive their Prize or Prize collection details via email, approximately one business day following the respective draw. Grand Prize winners will work with the Contest administrator to coordinate a day and time to see their chosen Oilers or Flames game - up to 6 regular season game options will be provided to choose from. Winners must respond within five business days to claim their weekly or Grand Prize. Failure to respond may result in forfeiture.
If the Prize is not claimed and returned for any reason as “non-deliverable,” then that Prize winner may be contacted using the phone number provided during sign-up. The Prize winner must respond within five business days of such contact, or the Prize winner will be disqualified from the Contest and will not receive the applicable Prize. The Prize will then be forfeited and will not be awarded in the Contest. If, for any reason, a Participant whose Entry is drawn is not declared the winner of the Prize, then that Prize winner will not have any claim against the Contest Entities or against any other person, firm or corporation in respect of the Prize, the Contest or any matter related to the Contest.
By participating, entrants consent to the collection and use of their personal information for contest administration purposes in accordance with section 33(c) of the Alberta Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act. Personal data will not be shared.
